- The estate’s historic namesake vineyard plot! Always harvested last, this old Pinot Noir plot, located behind the Moulin de Verzenay, is planted on deep red clay colluvial soils. It reveals another facet of Verzenay, defined by the richness, generosity and ripeness of the fruit.
- Winemaking
- Only indigenous yeasts, and no chaptalization. 100% of the wine is produced in oak barrels, partly sourced from family forests, and rests on fine lees for a minimum of 9 months.
No fining, filtration, or cold stabilization.

A delicate œil de perdrix hue, reflecting the exceptional ripeness of the grapes at harvest. The absence of filtration also allows the wine’s terroir to express itself fully and naturally.
A delicate nose of red berries, strawberry, cane sugar and warm stone, a distinctive signature of the vineyard.
The palate reveals a different dimension: rich and broad, with generous notes of blood orange and English confectionery, followed by a more pronounced mineral finish, reminiscent of chalk.
Enjoy with turbot served with beurre blanc, or with a refined surf-and-turf dish for a truly harmonious pairing.
